The NF-8209S is the upgraded version of the NF-8209. It traces cables, maps wiring and checks PoE, with better sensitivity for finding cables in busy racks.
Key features
- Improved cable tracing. Stronger, more sensitive receiver for locating cables in dense bundles.
- Wiremap test. Finds open, short, crossed and miswired pairs on RJ45 cables.
- PoE detection. Checks whether a port is supplying PoE power.
- Port flash. Blinks the switch link LED to identify the connected port.
- 60 V protection. Protected against accidental connection to live lines up to 60 V.
- RJ45 and RJ11. Tests network and telephone cables.
