The original NF-8209 toner and probe kit. It finds the right cable in a messy bundle and checks RJ45 wiring, making it a dependable everyday tool for LAN installers.

Key features

Cable tracing. The transmitter sends a tone and the receiver locates the target network, phone or metal cable, even in a crowded patch panel.
Wiremap test. Checks RJ45 cables for open, short, crossed and miswired pairs.
PoE detection. Shows whether a switch port is supplying PoE power.
Port flash. Blinks the link light on the switch so you can find which port a cable goes to.
60 V protection. Protected against accidental connection to live telecom lines up to 60 V.
RJ45 and RJ11. Works with network cable and telephone line. Crocodile clips handle bare wires.
